Our book, Shrugging Off the Wind, will be launched on Saturday 6 March 2010, only two days to go. It is listed on Amazon, and at Waterstones and WH Smiths, but without any of the Easington Writers being mentioned as yet.
The 9 current members, and the authors of the book, are Mary N. Bell, Terry Dobson, Mavis Farrell, Agnes Frain, David Lee, Ann Peel, Chris Robinson, Susan Robinson and Joan Wright. The editors are Wendy Robertson and Avril Joy.
The book is a collection of short fictional stories and poems, and was funded by the Lottery with support from Durham County Council.
